Full Machine Simulation Makes IMSverify the Solid Alternative for High-End Simulation and Verification
HAVERHILL, MA. January 2, 2007 IMS Software, the pioneering developer of advanced NC postprocessing, verification and simulation solutions has announced the release of IMSverify 2007.
IMSverify 2007 adds full machine simulation with collision detection to IMSverifys CNC verification capability, which provides material removal and collision checking between machine, tool, holder, stock and fixtures.
IMSverifys solid-based technology provides unique functionality with synchronized views of the CAM output (APT/CL), machine G-code, and graphic simulation of the machine motion and material removal. Affordably priced, IMSverify brings world-class G-code verification to every CAM seat.
Other new features include a remarkably easy-to-use interface which mimics the way the actual job is set up on the machine tool, import of the CAD model for real-time gouge detection, and analysis of the cut part versus the design intent from the CAD geometry.
Probing support allows for the full range of setup operations on the machine to be accurately simulated and checked before the part is actually cut.
