HAVERHILL, MA, Sep 3, 2010 — IMS Software will showcase the newest version of IMSverify at IMTS in Chicago (booth E-4020) from September 13-18, 2010.
IMSverify 2011 features numerous enhancements expanding the capability of the easy-to-use, solids-based solution for CNC verification and machine simulation. Among the new features:
Intelligent chip removal, eliminating the need for manual intervention when the stock is split into multiple pieces.
Expanded macro language capability for user customization, including the ability to reference custom or 3rd-party libraries for integration and optimization.
Support for robotic kinematics
Support for multiple machine setups when processing multiple files (repositioning part, redefining origins, modifying controller information, changing of fixtures, etc.).
‘IMSverify 2011 expands the options available for users to accurately test every facet of the NC program before the job goes to the floor’ says Dan Wrenn, president and co-founder of IMS Software. ‘Complete processing of the machine setup, probing, dynamic compensation and all controller subroutines, variables and expressions provide capabilities not found in any system working simply from the CAM toolpath, or verifying while postprocessing.’
IMS will demonstrate IMSverify 2011, along with IMSpost and IMSce for CATIA at IMTS in Chicago, from September 13-18. IMS will be located in the East Building, booth E-4020.
