Michelin Group Standardizes on IMSpostSoftware
Single postprocessor software standard

28 May, 1998 — Clermont/Ladoux, France — Groupe Michelin has announced that, after an exhaustive comparison of CNC postprocessor software, they will standardize on IMSpost from Intelligent Manufacturing Software of Haverhill, Massachusetts as their single CNC postprocessor solution.

According to Dan Wrenn, President of IMS North America, ‘Michelin based their choice on IMSposts’s ease of use, flexibility and powerful feature set.’ He added, ‘Due to its compatibility with virtually any CAM system and machine type, IMSpost will be the only CNC postprocessing software standard at Michelin S.A.’ The value of the agreement is undisclosed.
